Michael N. Zienta

Michael N. Zienta, 68, of Fremont, OH passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 20, 1957 in Fremont, OH to Norbert and Patricia (Young) Zienta. Michael was a 1976 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Michael was a dedicated member of Grace Community Church, where he found fellowship and spiritual comfort throughout his life. He also valued his time as a former member of the Fremont Moose Lodge and was actively involved with the ABATE Club, reflecting his commitment to community and camaraderie. One of Michael's greatest pleasures was spending time in his shed, where he enjoyed woodworking and honing his craftsmanship. Above all, he cherished the moments he spent with his beloved grandchildren, finding immense joy in their company.

Michael was known for his optimistic outlook and often shared his favorite saying with those around him: "You can't wait for life to be easy to be happy….Smile." His words and spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his children, Chad Zienta, Fremont, OH, Kristen (Dave) Wise, Tiffin, OH; grandchildren, Tae'Lynn Zienta, Dominic Wise, Aaliyah Zienta; siblings, Debra Dorobek, Fremont, OH, David (Brenda) Zienta, Zanesville, OH; nephews, Jonathan Dorobek, Adam Zienta; niece, Nicole Jones and his dog, Bella.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Brandon Zienta.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

Services will be on Tuesday, December 30, 2025; 10:30 am at the funeral home with Pastor Forrest Kirchenbauer officiating.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
