Michael Lawson Thieroff

Michael Lawson Thieroff, 69, of Clyde, OH, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. Michael was born on July 7, 1956 to Robert Lawson and Donna Marie (Hohenberger) Thieroff in Defiance, OH. He was a 1975 graduate of Rossford High School.

Michael was a sheet metal worker for local 33 and retired in 2022. He was a member of the Clyde Eagles and Green Springs VFW. He enjoyed fishing, rodeo clowns and John Deere tractors. Michael was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians (Guardians) Fan. Above all Michael loved spending time with his family and took great honor in being the oldest brother.

Michael is survived by his spouse of twenty-seven years, Nancy Myers; children, Bradley (Beth) Thieroff, Kalamazoo, MI, Brian Thieroff, Point Place, OH, Kristin (Sean) Meyer, Castle Rock, CO, Michael Hoerig, Bellevue, OH, Matthew Hoerig, Clyde, OH; siblings, Douglas (Loretta) Thieroff, Woodville, OH, Linda (Gene) Koschinski, Wendy Sue (Rob) Thornton, Pemberville, OH; grandchildren, Brody, Reece, Emalynn Thieroff, Elsie Meyer, Darrian “Peanut”, Mattalyn and Jesse Hoerig

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A private burial will be held for the family at a later date at Green Springs Cemetery.

Memorials can be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Stein Hospice.
