Michael Elden Sears

Michael Elden Sears, 72, of Fremont, OH passed away on April 24, 2025 at his home. He was born on October 26, 1952 in Fremont, OH the son of Harry and Barbara (Clookie) Sears. He was a 1971 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and then served in the Ohio National Guard.

Mike married Sharon Kay Ross on July 6, 2002 in Fremont and she preceded him in death on February 7, 2022. He was employed at Crescent Manufacturing for many years until he retired in 2015. Mike loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, cars and music.

Mike is survived by his children, Jason Sears, Fremont and Cindy (JJ) Shank, Bettsville, Zackery Sears and Ashlly Sears both of Fremont, Nickole (Jason Weiss) Sears, Clyde; grandchildren, MaKenna (Kevin) and Austin, Novalynn, Mayalynn, Wyatt, Emma, Aubrey, Lilah; great grandchildren, Kevin, Jr., and Kix; siblings, Arleta Myers, Fremont, Jack (Janet) Sears, Fostoria, Scott (Tina) Sears, Fremont and Dan (Celina) Sears, Huntsville, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Lester Buhro; wife, Sharon Sears; grandson, Skylar Burroughs and sister, Paula K. Sears.

A private family gathering was held in his honor.
