Michael S. Price

Michael Sherwood Price, 67, of Fremont, OH passed away on December 30, 2025 at his home. He was born in Fremont, OH on May 13, 1958 the son of Betty Price. Mike was a 1977 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Mike married Kimberly Jones on April 13, 1985 in Fremont, OH and she survives. He was a welder at Chemi-Trol/American Tank and Welding for over thirty-five years until he retired in 2022. Mike loved basketball and played in the city league for years and coached various teams. He enjoyed all sports, music and was an avid Ohio State fan. Mike also loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife of forty years, Kimberly Price, Fremont, OH; children, Michael Price, Lewis Center, OH, PJ Price, Tiffin, OH and Essence Skinner, Tiffin, OH; grandchildren, Kai and Myka Price, Arslyn, Anthym and Amalo Skinner; brother, James "Dennis" Price and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, John Will and Katie Lou Price; brother, John "Tim" Price and a special uncle who helped to raise him, Haldon Price.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH. A celebration of life will follow at Noon at the funeral home.
