Martha J. Jennings

Martha Jane Jennings, 87 of Clyde, OH passed away surrounded by her family at home on Friday, March 22, 2024. She was born on February 14, 1937 to Rush and Margaret (Gaudern) Richmond.  She was a 1955 graduate of Clyde High School.

Martha married Joe Jennings on June 29, 1957 at Grace Episcopal Church in Clyde, OH.  She and Joe owned and operated Jennings Produce.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Clyde.  Martha enjoyed farming and spending time with her family.

Martha is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Joe Jennings, Clyde, OH; children, Tami (Matt) Hofelich, Fremont, OH, Thomas Jeffery (Cindy) Jennings, Clyde, OH, Amy (Keith) Miller, Bloomville, OH; grandchildren, John (Brittany) Hofelich, Patricia (Kole) Hackenburg, Holly Hofelich, Coltin Jennings, Emeline Miller; brother-in-law, Homer Hunt of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Pat Aldrich, Clyde, OH; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Thomas Dean Richmond, Ann Hunt; sister-in-law, Cleobelle (Gene) Slotto and brother-in-law, Herb Aldrich. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 4 to 7 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St. Fremont, OH 43420.  

A Memorial Service will follow the visitation beginning at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at a later date at Bakertown Cemetery, Clyde, OH
