Maria Grimaldo Tavarez

Maria (Grimaldo) Tavarez, 90 of Fremont, OH, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Bethesda Care Center.  She was born on August 5, 1933 in Encinal, TX to Fernando and Guadalupe (Delgado) Grimaldo.  Maria married Francisco S. Tavarez on July 20, 1972 and he preceded her on October 5, 1997. 

Maria is survived by sisters, Ana (Arturo, Sr.) Diaz, Laredo, TX, Sylvia Gonzalez and Rosa Paz both of LaBelle, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; special daughters, Tasha and Amber.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Sacramento and Fernando Grimaldo, Jr.; sisters, Manuela Grimaldo, Petra Liñan and Guadalupe Treviño.

Services will be held private for the family.

Burial: St. Ignatius Cemetery, Oregon, OH.
