Lonita Rose Price

Lonita Rose Price, 74, of Clyde, OH passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Novant Health Rownan Medical Center in North Carolina. She was born on February 22, 1952 in Pikeville, KY to Beverly and Sally Bell (Thompson) Miller. Lonita was a 1971 graduate of Riverdale High School in Mount Blanchard, OH.

Lonita married James Price on January 1, 1971 in Mount Blanchard, OH and he survives. She devoted much of her life to caring for her family as a homemaker, finding fulfillment in creating a warm and welcoming home. In addition to her dedication at home, she was also employed by the Clyde Moose Lodge, where she contributed her time and energy, and she took pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the Sandusky County Court House. Lonita was an active member of the Clyde community, belonging to organizations such as the VFW, Eagles, and Moose Lodge, where she enjoyed the camaraderie and friendships these groups offered. In her leisure time, she found joy in working on puzzles and cherished her collection of bears, which was a source of happiness for her over the years.

Lonita is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, James Price; children, Kimberly Lynn (Brian) Miller, Pandora, OH, Marlene (Jeff) Sprouse, St. Louis, MO, Francis (Marnie) Price, Fremont, OH, Rebecca (Christopher) Binder, Clyde, OH, Severend (Mindy) Price, Fremont, OH; siblings, Diana Lynn Geotz, Connie (Doug) Reed, Doug (Michelle) Miller, Sally Rogers, William (Tori) Miller, Kenneth (Pam) Miller, niece, Natasha Marino; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

Services will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026, 10:00 am at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Mount Blanchard Cemetery in Mount Blanchard, OH.
