Linda L. Pearson

Linda L. Pearson, 65, of Sixth St, Fremont, OH went to be with her Lord surrounded by her family at Toledo Hospital on Monday, January 21, 2013. She was born on August 28, 1947 in Fremont to Russell and Betty (Green) Kingsborough. She was a 1965 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and the Tiffin Hair Academy.

Linda married Richard L. Pearson on January 10, 1970 at Hayes United Methodist Church in Fremont and he survives. She sold Avon and was a Beautician. She worked for Fremont Cablevision and then Time Warner Cable as a Secretary until she retired.

Linda was a member of Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church, the Mom’s Wednesday Night Dinner Club and was very active in the Fremont Ross Boosters Club. She enjoyed bowling, fishing and was an avid football fan. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Linda was known as Mama P to many.

Linda is survived by her husband, Richard “Rick” L. Pearson, Fremont, OH; children, Doug (Maribeth) Pearson, Fremont, OH, Scott (Jaime) Pearson, Genoa, OH, Tim (Heather) Pearson, Fremont, OH; siblings, Denise (Mike) Bailey, Mansfield, OH, Randy (Pat) Kingsborough, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Alexis, Nicholas, Drew, Tyler and Carleigh Pearson; many nieces and nephews.

She has been reunited with her loving family as preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jerry Kingsborough and Carol Riehl.

Visitation: Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH

Service: Saturday, January 26, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church, prior to the service, 1441 Fangboner Rd, Fremont, OH. Pastor Alan Brown will officiate.

Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH

Memorials: Fremont Ross Athletic Boosters or the American Diabetes Association.
