LeRoy Martin Rollins

LeRoy Martin Rollins, 82, of Cleveland, OH passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Cleveland Metro Health Center, Cleveland, OH. He was born on July 7, 1943 to Oneda Rollins.

LeRoy dedicated much of his life to serving the Cleveland community as a committed RTA bus driver. Over the years, he transported countless passengers throughout the city, ensuring their safe arrival at their destinations. His compassion extended beyond his regular duties, as he also drove patients to area hospitals, providing comfort and reliable transportation to those in need.

A devoted member of Good Shepard Ministries in Cleveland, LeRoy found great joy in his faith. He was especially known for his musical abilities, playing the bass guitar with remarkable skill. LeRoy also enjoyed driving the church bus.

In his younger years, LeRoy was proud to represent Fremont Ross High School as an athlete, participating in sports and building lasting memories. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, creating moments filled with love and lasting bonds.

LeRoy is survived by his children, Claudia “Jodie” Price, Troy Rollins, both of Fremont, OH, Jennifer (Dwight) Taylor, Picayune, MS, Rachel (Jason) Dotson, Fremont, OH; step children, Tangela (Michael) Gray, LaTina Lindsey, JR Lindsey, Tiffaney (James) Morgan, Shaun Boyd; fiancé, Sheila Boyd, all of Cleveland, OH and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother; daughter, Michelle (Jerardo) Eckford; son, Damone Thomas and sister, Jeanette Rollins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 11:00 am to Noon at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

Services will be immediately after visitation, beginning at Noon at the funeral home.

Burial will follow and take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
