Leland Marmont Green

Leland Marmont Green, 92, of Kansas, OH passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Countryside Continuing Care Center in Fremont. Leland was born on January 6, 1933 to Marmont James and Odessa (Long) Green in Bellevue, OH. Leland married Doris Buton on August 26, 1972 in Michigan and she preceded him in death on December 15, 2020.

Leland was a Laborer for Fostoria Foundry for many years until he retired. He enjoyed carpentry.

Leland is survived by his children, Leland Green, Linda Voelzke; stepchildren, Judith Hickle, Karen Shriver; siblings; Mary, Lillian, Raymond, Delmar, Vita; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parnets, wife, Doris Green; sons, Jack Green and Paul Green; stepsons, James Swartzmiller and David Swartzmiller; siblings, Buelah, Marmont, Buster, James, Harley and Shirley.

It was Leland’s wishes to have no services at this time.

Memorials can be made in his honor to Seneca County Humane Society.
