Larry C. Bennett, 80, of Fremont, OH passed away on August 12, 2025 at Fireland Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH. He was born on July 23, 1945 in Fremont, OH the son of Charles and Mary (Mack) Bennett. He was a 1963 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Larry married Barbara J. Brown on December 14, 1963 at Grace Lutheran Church and she preceded him in death on June 23, 2005. He then married Barbara Stults on January 12, 2007 and she survives. Larry was a machinist/millwright at Eveready for over thirty years. He then worked at Vanguard for thirteen years until he retired in 2010.

Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. He was also a volunteer at Memorial Hospital Hospice and he enjoyed taking his therapy dogs with him.

Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Stults, Fremont; children, Marcia (Mike) Mills, Risingsun, OH, Charles “Mike” (Betty) Bennett, Fremont; brother-in-law, Roger Gahn, Fremont; eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Larry Goff; first wife, Barbara Bennett and sisters, Sandra (Stanley) Gahn and Judy Gahn.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Clyde, OH.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
