Kathleen Ann May

Kathleen “Kathie” Ann May, 83, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. Kathie was born on December 28, 1942 to Kenneth Harold and Mary V. (Eged) Kreager in Port Clinton, OH. She was a graduate of Port Clinton High School. Kathie married Thomas May on September 14, 1984 in Catawba, OH and he survives.

Kathie worked for New Departure in Sandusky, the Port Clinton Airport and was a Dispatcher for the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department. She enjoyed cooking, travelling to Amish Country, her iPad and cats. Kathie was a previous member of Victory Christian Fellowship in Fremont, OH. Above all else she was dedicated to her faith and religion.

Kathie is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Thomas May; sons, Craig (Carol) Zetzer, Tom (Karen) Zetzer; stepsons, Tommy May, Timothy (Julie) Owen; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Keith (Peggy) Kreager; sister-in-law, Linda Kreager and many beloved friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Erik Robert Zetzer and brother, Kenneth Harold Kreager Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. at the American Legion Post 83, 3615 Hayes Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870
