Joyce Ann Weiker

Joyce Ann Weiker, 86, of Green Springs, OH passed away on October 23, 2026 at Bellevue Care Center. She was born on December 7, 1939 in Clay Center, OH the daughter of Elden Ray and Edith May (Cornell) Purney. Joyce was a 1957 graduate of Clay-Genoa High School. She married Carlos George Weiker on September 27, 1958 and he survives.

Joyce was a homemaker and loved raising her sons and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, crafting, cooking and baking. Joyce and her husband also enjoyed square dancing, camping and traveling together.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Carlos Weiker, Green Springs; sons, Mark (Diana) Weiker, Green Springs, Wayne (Tonya) Weiker, Fremont, Gary (Cornelia) Weiker, Oak Island, NC, Dean Weiker, Green Springs and Kevin (Anne) Weiker, Fremont; grandchildren, Crystal, Kelly, Dustin, Nathan, Brian, Jonathan, Erica, Celina, Chloe, Adelaide, Benjamin, Caitlyn and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James (Janet) Purney and granddaughter, Jasmine Weiker.

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, November 22, 2026 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Green Springs American Legion Post 295, 211 Smith St, Green Springs, OH 44836.
