Jerrold S. Legg, 59, of Vickery, OH passed away on December 8, 2025 at his home. He was born on May 12, 1966 in Sandusky, OH the son of James Legg and Beulah (Sorrell) Chapman. Jerrold was currently working at Whirlpool Corporation for the past forty years.
Jerrold was a country boy at heart and enjoyed hunting, fishing and a good bonfire. He loved his Harleys and a long fair weather ride. He enjoyed attending the annual Bike Week activities. Jerrold was a big biker but had even a bigger “teddy bear heart.” He also enjoyed his daily Redd’s Wicket Ale. Jerrold loved his family and enjoyed doting on his granddaughter, Laina. She always knew that her shopping trips with him would never include the word “no”.
Jerrold is survived by his partner of eight years, Shelly Welsch, Vickery; son, Cory Legg, Maui, HI; granddaughter, Laina Legg, Maui, HI; father and step-mother, James (Darla) Legg, Green Springs; mother, Beulah Chapman, Clyde; siblings, Julie (Steve) Swaisgood, Lindsey, Juanita (Jim) Mossbarger, Lancaster, OH, Jim Legg, Republic, Joe (Karen) Legg and Chris (Jen) Legg both of Green Springs, Leslie (Jeff) Wood, Diamond, OH, Keith (Claire) Greenwald, Tiffin and Merci (Larry) Johnson, Clyde and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
