Jean Lou Wonderly, 91, of Helena, OH passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 13, 2021with her family by her side. She was born on December 5, 1929 in Gibsonburg, OH, the daughter of Sherman H. and Ada F. (Rogers) Baker. She was a 1947 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. Jean married Robert Wonderly on June 25, 1949 at St. Mary’s Church and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2016. Jean first worked as a secretary at the Lime plant in 1948 and then worked at the Kansas Rural Serve.

Jean was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Altar Rosary Society in Millersville, OH. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to Florida, card clubs, cooking, sewing, playing bingo and was an avid home shopper.

Jean is survived by her children, Terri (Ted) Parks, Helena, OH, Steve (Nancy) Wonderly, Findlay, OH, Joe (Nancy) Wonderly, Maumee, OH, Jeff Wonderly, Mike Wonderly and Matt (Linda) Wonderly, all of Helena, OH; sister, Carol Baker, Green Springs, OH; grandchildren, Katie Ward, Abby Wonderly and Betsy (Gordon) Trainor; great grandchildren, Dominic, Malani, Braeden, Evyn, Pheraline and Sariah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Wonderly and brother, Paul Baker.

Visitation: Saturday, June 19, 2021, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church-Millersville, 865 St. Rte 635, Helena, OH 43435.

A Memorial Mass will follow visitation at the church with Fr. Scott Woods officiating.

Burial: St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millersville, OH.
