Howard "Marty" M. Thompson

Howard “Marty” M. Thompson, 77, of Fremont, OH passed away on August 23, 2025 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on September 2, 1947 the son of Elder and Jane Rosebrook in Deshler, OH.

Marty was a janitor at Sandco Industries for many years until he retired. He had a particular interest in collecting Country Western CDs, with a special appreciation for bluegrass music. In his later years he became cantankerous but remained very lovable by all who met him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Rosebrook.

Marty’s friends would like to invite everyone to celebrate his birthday and life by sharing a root beer float on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Memorials can be made in his honor to the School of Hope.
