Glynn “Prince” Dell Evans III, 29, of Bettsville, OH passed away on May 9, 2025 as the result of an auto accident in Seneca County. He was born on December 6, 1995 in New Orleans, LA the son of Glynn and Cheryl (LaFrance) Evans, Jr.
Glynn was a 2014 graduate of Azle High School in Azle, TX and received his associate degree and apprentice in Tool and Die/Mold Maker from Terra State Community College. He was currently a machinist at Smith Classic Machine and worked at Century Tool and Die from 2018-2024.
Glynn married Madeline (Cleveland) Evans on September 17, 2022 and they had two beautiful children, Briella Evans (5) and Colston Evans (11 months). Glynn was proud to be a devoted husband, loving father, amazing son and an even better friend. He was a kindhearted soul who’s presence lit up every room he entered. To those who knew him, Glynn was more than a friend- he was a calm in the storm, a steady hand and had a kind heart. He gave generously, listened deeply and always showed up for others. Aside from time with his family, Glynn has a passion for sprint car racing. Since 2010 he’s been wrenching on a sprint car with some of his good friends; TJ Michael, Chris Andrews and most recently, Sean Rayhall. He enjoyed detailing cars and had his own business, Factory Black Detailing and Services. Glynn also enjoyed working on his house and grilling and smoking meat.
Glynn is survived by his wife, Maddie Evans, Bettsville, OH; children, Briella and Colston Evans; parents, Glynn and Cheryl Evans, Jr., Azle, TX; brothers, Dorian Evans, Azle, TX, Christopher Evans, Cottonport, LA; grandparents, Cleaster Paul, St. Rose, LA; mother-in-law, Stephanie (Karr) and Jason Myers; father-in-law, Timothy Cleveland; sister-in-law, Katlin (Brennan) Henyon; brothers-in-law, Luke O’Brien and JT Myers; grandparents-in-law, Robert and Kathy Karr, Connie and Mike Durnwald, Norma and Tom Willis, Tim and Mary Myers and Rebecca Hoffman.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, David Paul, grandparents, Alvin and Rosia LaFrance; grandparents-in-law, Muriel and Edwin Myers.
A celebration of life will start at 1:00 pm Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the Sandusky County Fair Grounds in the Flower Building.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Glynn’s honor to his children in care of Madeline Evans.
