Glenda “Lenny” Scott, 67, of Fremont, OH passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, July 25, 2025. She was born on April 5, 1958 in Fremont, OH to William and Queen (Tiller) Scott Sr.
Lenny worked for Ryan’s Steakhouse and Walmart along with other established businesses. She was a member of Worship Center of Atlanta (Bishop Luther McKinstry) and Worship Center of Fremont (Pastor Brenda Moore). Lenny’s sense of humor was legendary among her friends and family. She loved to talk on the phone, where each call was an opportunity to connect, share, and listen. Lenny’s true love was watching her grandchildren and spending time with family.
Lenny is survived by her sons, Ryan Jeré Scott, Sandusky, OH, Rolando Scott, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Jeré Scott, Kadyn Alaniz-Scott, Urijah Alaniz-Scott, Elliana Scott, Reign Scott, Nora Scott, Adriel Scott; siblings, Richard (Sabrina) Scott, Beverly Simms, Miller Scott, Tina Scott, Jeremy (Hannah) Scott; Special Friend, Helen Kinnion; Godmother, Mattie Brown; Godsons, Teion Daniels, Bryan Pettiford, Travis Bulger; special cousins, John and Trina Shelby Family and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Warren Minniefield; brothers, Jimmy Scott, William Scott, Bruce Scott Sr and Godfather, Milton Brown.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 11:00 am to Noon at First Baptist Missionary Church, 1699 Dickinson St, Fremont, OH 43420.
Services will begin following visitation at Noon at the church.
