Gerald H. Robinson

Gerald H. Robinson, 90, of Green Springs, OH, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, December 18, 2025 surrounded by his family. Gerald was born on January 23, 1935 to Carl and Francis (Cook) Robinson in Bowling Green, OH.

Jerry was a 1954 graduate of Green Springs High School. Gerald served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957 in Germany as a specialist and had a Third-Class Rank when he was discharged. After returning he married Anna Aldrich of Helena on September 10, 1960 at the Green Springs Methodist Church and she survives. Gerald worked for Clyde Green Springs Schools as a custodian for thirty-two years and retired in 1989.

In his younger years he enjoyed bowling, hunting, mushroom hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed puzzles and cooking for his family. Above all he was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren and the great grandchildren. He and Anna loved spending breakfast time at the Route Twenty Diner for over forty-five years.

Gerald survives by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Anna (Aldrich) Robinson; children, Linda Robinson, Duane (Arlene) Robinson, Barbara (Kevin) Wiseman; grandchildren; Curtis (Alicia) Matties, Brittany (James) Green, Whitney (Jason) Dick, Mariah (Paul) Williams, Andrew (Allie) Wiseman, Garrett (Kortni) Wiseman; fourteen great-grandchildren; along with two brothers, Ronald "Chris" Robinson, of England and Dean Robinson, of Clyde; many sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Francis Robinson, three brothers, James Robinson, Dennis Robinson, Donald Robinson; also preceding him is his granddaughter, Trinity Robinson and his great-grandson Connor Matties.

Visitation will take place on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. Broadway St. Green Springs, OH 44836.

Services will follow visitation starting at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made in his honor to the American Heart Association and Heartland Hospice.
