Eleanor E. Lee

Eleanor E. Lee, 91, of Clyde, OH passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at her home. She was born on March 15, 1935 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Walter and Evelyn (Hodge) Dickman. She was a 1953 graduate of Green Springs High School.

Eleanor married Earlie E. Lee on May 25, 1957 in Green Springs, OH and he preceded her in death on December 8, 2017. She worked for many years at General Electric in Bellevue, OH. She was also a volunteer police dispatcher for the Village of Green Springs for forty years.

Eleanor was an active member of the Icedore Chapter 299 of the Eastern Star and was a past Worthy Matron. She was a member of the Green Springs American Legion Auxiliary Post 295. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, painting, playing cards and traveling. She loved going to the casino and playing the lottery. Eleanor was a poll worker for the board of elections for many years.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Robert (Michelle) Lee and Melanie (Brad St. Louis) Lee both of Clyde, OH; grandchildren, Misti (Jeret) Halbeisen, Robert Lee II, Jonathan Lee and Zach Stanley; great grandchildren, Travis Baumer, Brayden Arriaga, Gracie and Asher Lee; sister, Mary Strait, Clyde, OH.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earlie Lee and brother, Jack Dickman.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N Broadway St., Green Springs, OH.

Services will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026; 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Green Springs Cemetery.

Memorials can be made in her honor to Stemtown Historical Society Museum.
