Fremont

Elaine Ann Cammarn (Elton), 75, born February 12, 1950, in Toledo, OH, triumphantly returned to her Heavenly Father on October 16, 2025, at her home in Fremont, OH. A devout Christian, Elaine cherished her Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, with the compassionate care of Heartland Hospice, after a long and courageous 40-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Her remarkable strength and unwavering faith were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Elaine was a BEAUTIFUL soul who loved everyone she met. She was so incredible that both her grandchildren wrote school papers about what she meant to them. She leaves a huge void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many others whose lives she touched.

Elaine served as a Business Manager at Household Centralized Service for 20 fulfilling years, where she built lifelong friendships with her colleagues, who became like family. She deeply cherished the steadfast support of her dear friend, David Tobian, who remained faithfully in contact with her until her passing.

Elaine was blessed with the devoted care and companionship of her loving husband, Mike Cammarn, who stood faithfully by her side throughout their 25 years of marriage. His gentle strength, patience, and daily care brought her comfort and allowed her to remain at home surrounded by love.

Elaine is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Harold and Dorothy Elton, and her baby sister, Juanita “JJ” Kae Elton. She is survived and deeply missed by her husband, Mike Cammarn; her sister, Karen Biggs (Elton); her daughter, Sonya (Bill) Sparks; her grandchildren, Dominique (Brian) Zeman and Josh Craven; her great-grandchildren, Preston Bachli and Miranda Zeman; her niece, Tonya Shaver; and her nephew, Lon (Alison) Shaver.

MOM: Your Hug Meant the World Nobody else held me so tight Or made me feel so right No one’s eyes shined so bright with love As my mom, who is now high above

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Elaine’s memory to Heartland Hospice.

In her heavenly state, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4)
