Edward Arthur Logan II

Edward “Ed” Arthur Logan II, 40, of Fremont, OH passed away in an unexpected accident on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Ed was born on September 14, 1985 to Edward A. and Luanne (Anderson) Logan in Toledo, OH. He was a 2004 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and the Vanguard Culinary Program. Ed graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 2006.

Ed was an auto mechanic for many years, he owned and operated “Team Logan Auto” for over five years. He enjoyed drag racing, cooking and above all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. In his younger years Ed was an Eagle Scout. He was a girls softball coach for many teams and clubs. Ed had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone.

Ed is survived by his children, Mekayla (Maurice) Jones, Fremont, OH, Elyssa Logan, Edward Logan III, both of Toledo, OH; parents, Edward and Luanne Logan; brother, Trent (Brittney) Logan, all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Xaiden, Ma’Lani, Azariah; nephews, TJ and Lincoln.

He is preceded in death by his, infant twin brother, Kyle Logan; paternal grandparents, John Logan and Dorothy Moyer; maternal grandparents, Wes and Nancy Anderson.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420.

Services will follow visitation starting at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made in his honor to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

In a final act of generosity, Ed gave the gift of life through organ donation, leaving a legacy of hope that will continue in others.
