Donald E. Butscher

Donald Earl Butscher, 73, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home on Monday, August 1, 2022.  He was born February 2, 1949 in Fremont, the son of William and Norma Ruth (Schwartzman) Butscher.  He was a 1967 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Don served in the U.S. Air Force from July 11, 1968 to September 14, 1976 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal; Air Force Good Conduct Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Air and Space Longevity Service Award.  He was a member of the Fremont American Legion and VFW.

Donald is survived by his brother, Jim Butscher, Clyde, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Ronald M. Butscher.

Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2022 from Noon to 2 p.m. with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Burial: Fourmile House Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
