Dianna L. Guggisberg

Dianna L. Guggisberg, 81, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Countryside Care Center. She was born on September 12, 1943 in Fremont to Andrew and Iva (Booth) Gasdritza. Dianna was a 1962 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Dianna worked at Walmart for over twenty years. She was a member of the Fremont Alliance Church and the Fremont Eagles for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her past coworkers playing cards and going out to dinner. Dianna liked dancing and won the Senior Sauerkraut Queen title in 2024.

Dianna is survived by her children, Frederick “Steve” (Annette) Guggisberg and Christina (Clyde) Shammo, both of Fremont, OH; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and two on the way; best friend and sister by heart, Alta Jean Olmstead.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Andrew Guggisberg.

A Celebration of Life will take place on her birthday, Friday, September 12, 2025, refer back to this obituary for future location and time details.

Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Dianna’s honor to the Sandusky County Humane Society and Stein Hospice.
