Dennis L. Metz

Dennis L. Metz, 77, of Lindsey, OH passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Bethesda Care Center. He was born on January 19, 1948 in Fremont, OH to William and Betty (Miles) Metz, Sr. Dennis was a 1968 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He worked for Toledo Machining for thirty-five years and retired in 2008.

Dennis is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Susan Metz, Lindsey, OH; daughter, Kimberly of California; grandchildren, Eric Metz, Marissa Metz, Chase Zimmerman; brother, David (Denise) Metz and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Dale; daughter, Melissa; grandson, James; brothers, Bill Jr. and Ronald.

A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Burial will take place at a later date.
