David M. Young

David “Dave” M. Young, 68, of Fremont, OH passed away unexpectedly at home on October 25, 2026. He was born on November 8, 1957 in Fremont, OH to Lester and Louise (Durnwald) Young.

Dave worked for Fremont Foundry and Brush Wellman as a Millwright for many years. He was proud of building a steam engine with his dad. Dave enjoyed bicycling, boating and his pet cats but above all, he enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dave is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Diane Young; children, Ronald M. (Kelsey Kempton) Young, Kiel Young, Jennifer (Joshua Sr.) Jones; grandchildren, Kihanna Young, Kaureena (Bryce Seibert) Alridge, Kody Young, Kaydin Jones, Hezekiah Kelley; great grandchildren, Milo Seibert, Winter Seibert; siblings, Patricia Edwards, Thomas (Carleen) Young, Luanne (William) Yeager and Lynne (Paul) Warren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronald E. Young, James Young and brother-in-law, William Edwards.

Services will be held privately for his family.
