Dale R. Haslinger, 78, of Fremont, OH passed away on January 29, 2026 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. He was born on May 19, 1947 in Fremont, OH the son of Bernard T. and Mary “Lucille” (Smith) Haslinger. Dale was a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph High School.

Dale worked as a custodian at Vanguard Vocational School for thirty years until he retired. Dale also managed the Croghan Street Apartments for thirty years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Dale is survived by his brothers, Daniel Haslinger, Fremont and Dennis (Linda) Haslinger, Sykesville, MD; stepsister, Linda (Dennis) McCormack, Colorado Springs, CO. and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, George Ziebold and nephew, Scott Haslinger.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, noon to 2pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH. A vigil service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Private burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
