Cynthia L. Trevino

Cynthia L. Trevino, 70, of Fremont, OH, passed away on September 1, 2026, at Countryside Manor. She was born on July 17, 1956, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Garcia) Trevino. Cindy was a 1974 graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School and later attended Xavier University.

She worked at Whirlpool Corporation until her illness. Cindy brought joy to many and was loved by a wide circle of lifelong friends. She possessed a sharp wit and a great love for a good joke. An avid reader with a deep appreciation for art and history, she also never turned down the thrill of winning at bingo. More than anything, Cindy treasured her family, especially the time spent with her beloved nephew, Thomas.

She is survived by her sisters, Brenda Trevino of Chicago, IL, and Jolianne (Eric) Hohman of Fremont, OH, and their son, Thomas Hohman of Piqua, OH; and her step-sister, Becca (Dustin) Current of Louisiana. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Hall (709 Croghan St., Fremont, OH). Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Buckeye Hospice.
