Claude H. Stine

Claude “Corky” H. Stine, 68, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Countryside Continuing Care Center. Corky was born on October 22, 1957 to Claude and Dora (Utter) Stine in Fremont, OH. He was a 1977 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and Vanguard Tech Center.

Corky worked for the Sugar Beet Factory in Fremont until 1992 when he became unable to work. In High School Corky worked for Countryside as an Aid and a Maintenance worker. He enjoyed Rock and Roll Music, NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt, hosting BBQ cookouts, Denny’s Restaurant and Rainbow Lanes.

Corky is survived by his sisters, Claudia Ruffing, Monroeville, OH, Kae Harr, Lindsay, OH, Louann Loomis, Fremont, OH, Wendy Stine, Fremont, OH, special niece and caregiver, Amy Meyer Fremont, OH; many nieces and nephews, daughters Jacqueline and Jillian; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James Stine, Gary Stine, Guy Stine.

It was Corky’s wishes to not have services at this time.

A private burial will take place at Four Mile House Cemetery.

Memorials can be made in his honor to the family.
