Clarence Parks Jr.

Clarence Parks Jr., 67, of Fremont, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026. Born on March 1, 1959 to Clarence and Billie Jean Parks in Birmingham Alabama, he lived a full and fruitful life. Clarence graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1978 and was inducted into the hall of fame for his numerous athletic achievements. After earning a Bachelor Degree in Political Science from Bowling Green State University, he went on to build a successful sales career at Ditch Witch of Ohio.

An inspirational man’s man and a great father, Clarence taught his sons not to see color, to be selfless, love one another, and help others whenever they had the opportunity. From camping at Lake Hope to countless miles on the road, Clarence dedicated himself to his sons’ baseball, boy scouts, and extracurricular activities. Clarence enjoyed people, always greeting them with a big smile and kindness in his heart. From biking with his childhood friend, Brian Koening, to taking walks down to Dairy Queen with his grandchildren, Clarence valued family. He enjoyed traveling, barbecuing on the grill, planting seeds in the garden, and fishing with his sons. His sons will always cherish his memory, thanking the Lord for blessing them with a true father.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Billie Jean Parks and his niece, Britney McNeil. He leaves behind his father, Clarence Parks Sr., his sons: Justin and Clarence Parks, his grandchildren: Justin, Elayna, Astella, Addison, Juliet, Maverick, and Connor Parks, his brothers and sister, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial of Life Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from Noon to 2 pm at Wonderly-Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

A Graveside Service will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 1793 W. McPherson Hwy in Clyde, OH beginning at 2:30 pm.
