Christine M. Marker

Christine Marie Marker, 58, of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on December 17, 1967 in Richmond, IN to Gary Marker and Marsha (Miller) Clabaugh. Christine attended Penta Career Center and Oak Harbor High School.

Christine previously worked at Sandco Industries and participated in programs at the Clyde Life Enrichment Center and Emmanuel Lutheran Center. She attended the Triumph Foundation Church. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music, playing games and cards, crocheting, and visiting yard sales.

Christine is survived by her mother and stepfather, Marsha and Steven Clabaugh, Fremont, OH; sisters, Carrie Lee, Oak Harbor, OH, Emily (Jonathon) Minich, Fremont, OH; step siblings, Christine Clabaugh, Steve Clabaugh, John Clabaugh; nephews, David and Nathan Brown, Ethan (Makayla) Stanley; niece, Elysia Minich; her beloved guardian and friend, Cheryl Mesnard; aunts and uncles, Debbie (Danny) Dalbey of Kentucky, Sharon (Doug) Wagers, Kathy (Mike) Butler, Barbara Miller; cousins, Matthew (Sonjia) Dalbey, Caleb (Jessica) Dalbey, Sarah (Brad) Patterson; extended friends Eva & Stuart Green and many beloved cousins and second cousins in Eddyville, KY and in Richmond, IN. Christine’s family extends special thanks to nurses Julianne and Kate, as well as critical care team member Chad, for their compassion and kindness.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Marker; maternal grandparents, Lyman & Reneda Miller; paternal grandparents, Kenneth & Janet Marker and uncle, Martin Miller.
