Brenda L. Dabrunz

Brenda L. Dabrunz, 62, of Fremont, OH passed away peacefully on January 30, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.   She was born on January 29, 1962 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Jesse Arnold and Janet Kay (Smith) Abney.   Brenda was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School in 1980.

Brenda married Richard M. Dabrunz on November 9, 1984 at Grace Lutheran Church and he survives.  She worked at Lutheran Home of Mercy for many years.  She was also a nail tech for thirteen years prior.  Brenda enjoyed shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.  She also loved to spend time at the lake.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Richard Dabrunz, Fremont; children, James Abney, Fremont, Lindsay (David) Akers, Hollister, MO and her bonus child/niece, Leslie Carr of Branson, MO; grandchildren, Niko Lake Akers, Keifer Dooley and Kyleigh White-Hagar; siblings, Regina (Gene) Albert, Dan Abney and Teresa Carr and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and fur babies.

Visitation:  Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
