Bernadine “Bernie” C. Guyer

Bernadine “Bernie” C. Guyer, 96, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Elmwood Communities of Fremont.  She was born on July 19, 1926 in Fremont, the daughter of Arthur and Clara (Grachek) Kramer.  She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School.  Bernie married Albert J. Guyer at St. Ann Catholic Church in Fremont and he preceded her in death on December 2, 1970.  She worked in shipping at Union Carbide/Eveready for forty-two years and retired in 1990.  Bernie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed working outdoors, sewing, cooking and walking.

Bernie is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Fick and Norma Gabel both of Fremont, OH and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert J. Guyer; sisters, Alberta Murphy and Mercedes Lyons, and many nieces and nephews.

Services and burial are private for the family.

Memorials can be made in Bernie’s name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, ProMedica Hospice or Donor’s Choice.
