Barbara Jean Cress, 87, of Fremont, OH, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at her daughter’s home. Barb was born on March 12, 1939 to Harold and Betty Helpman in Toledo, OH. Barb worked for a mailing company for many years until she retired. She enjoyed movies, crosswords, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.
Barb is survived by her children, Terry (Jody) Cress, Lori (Jeff Holmes) Cress, Beth (Brian Boyce) Cress; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, siblings and former husband, Terry Cress
She is preceded in death by her parents and former in-laws, Ted and Lois Cress.
It was Barb’s wish not to have services at this time.
Memorials can be made in her honor to the Humane Society of Sandusky County.
