Andre "AJ" Jacob Paul Crispen

A.J. was a 2017 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He had a true passion for racing and attended races on a regular basis. He was currently running a racing pool which gave him great pride. He also enjoyed studying the weather and maps. A.J. was an avid Ohio State and Pittsburg Steelers fan. He loved his family dog, Keizer and spending time with his family, especially his nieces.

A.J. is survived his parents, Tanya Crispen and Jason (Tiffany) Crispen both of Fremont; siblings, Jasmyn (Vance) Maier, Xaine, Gemma, Gracie and Jackson Crispen, Aiden and Chance Starkey; grandparents, Terry and Kim Halbeisen, Bill and Tracy Hutchinson, Mark and Nancy Crispen; great grandmothers, Barb Halbeisen and Joyce Foos; nieces, LydiaAnn and Alyrica Maier and best friend Evan Smith.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Howard Halbeisen, Victor Foos, Leo and Mary Schank, Marv and Karen Crispen.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Memorials can be made in A.J.’s name to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame or to the family.
