Linda R. Merrill

Linda Ruth Merrill, 67, of Fremont, OH passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic.  She was born on September 2, 1955 in Fremont, OH to Jack Manoylovich and Carol (Sechler) Vermillion.  Linda married Tim Merrill on December 15, 2001 and he preceded her on November 1, 2020.  She worked for Whirlpool retiring after twenty-two years of service in 2020. Linda loved volunteering her time helping at Riders Unlimited Inc. She enjoyed traveling, horseback riding, kayaking, going to Cedar Point, having a good laugh and spending time with her family and friends.  Linda was appreciative and grateful for all who helped and loved her.  She was brave in her battle and never gave up her fight.

Linda is survived by her children, Cori (Ben) Eishen, Emili (Jeremy) Mick, all of Fremont, OH, Nicholas (Rebecca) Kreilick, Cleveland, OH; step-children, Kelli (Kevin) Miller, Melany Smythe, Matt (Michelle) Merrill; brother-in-law, Dennis Emrich; grandchildren, Mariah, Bailey, Hannah, Matthew, Brianna, Nolan, Noah, Leland, Layla, Blane, Haley, Jordan, Jack, Macy, Sam, Megan, Madden; great grandchildren, Chance, Aliyah, Charlee; sister, Marcella Hickman, Fremont, OH; special friend, Steve Cleveland and her beloved dog, Piper.

She is preceded by her parents; husband, Tim Merrill; former husband, Tom Kreilick; sister, Connie Emrich; grandchildren, Bubble Gum Flower, Liam and great grandchild, Zeke.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

A Memorial Service will begin on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 6 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home.
