Norman Howard Horn, 85, of Fremont, OH went peacefully to sing with the choir of angels on April 2, 2014. He was born June 5, 1928 in Fremont, the son of Harry A. and Clara S. (Miller) Horn. He was a 1946 graduate of St. Joseph High School.

Norm served as a medic in the U.S. Army, 40th Division Artillery, from October, 1950 to October, 1952 during the Korean War. He was awarded the Army Occupation Medal (Japan), United Nations Service Medal and the Korean Service Medal with 1 BCS.

Norm married Barbara A. Crockett on September 17, 1955 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clyde, OH and she survives. He worked as Parts Manager at Wright Motors in Clyde retiring in 1986.

Norm loved singing and was the first choir director for Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a lifelong member of the choir.
