Nancy L. Schabow

Nancy L. Schabow, 77 of Fremont, OH passed away on November 9, 2014 at Countryside Continuing Care Center in Fremont. She was born on August 2, 1937 in Port Clinton, OH the daughter of Donald and Margaret (Everson) Jones. She was a 1956 graduate of Port Clinton High School.

Nancy married Lewis Schabow on September 17, 1958 in Springfield, IL and he survives. She owned and operated Nancy’s Tax Service in Port Clinton for over 30 years. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Fremont where she was very active. Nancy played softball in high school and still had a love for baseball and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She also loved to travel and enjoyed sporting events.

Nancy is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Lewis Schabow, Fremont; sons, Mark (Connie) Schabow, Fort Wayne, IN and Michael (Linda) Schabow, Durham, NC; brother, Donald William (Betty) Jones, Tulsa, OK.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Service: Saturday, November 22, 2014; 3:00 p.m. at Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 1509 Cedar St., Fremont, OH with Elder Jim Ramos officiating.
