Nancy Ann Schueren

Nancy Ann Schueren, 74, of Morrison Rd, Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Bellevue Hospital. She was born on November 17, 1938 in Toledo, OH to Henry and Bettie (Turner) Carter. She was a 1956 graduate of Scott High School.

Nancy married Gary Schueren on April 9, 1960 in Toledo, OH and he survives. She was a Receptionist the main office of Old Fort Bank in Old Fort for thirty years. Nancy and Gary lived in Old Fort for thirty-four years and moved to Fremont in 2004 after she retired.

Nancy was a member of Grace Community Church. She sang in the choir several years ago and loved being around other members of the church. Nancy loved reading, cooking and baking, especially cookies for the grandchildren and attending their events.

Nancy is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Gary Schueren, Fremont, OH; sons, John (Silvia) Schueren, Fremont, OH, Matthew (Carol Norman) Schueren, Columbus, OH; brother, Gerald (Joanne) Carter, Toledo, OH; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Schueren, Portsmouth, OH; grandchildren, Courtney, Nina, Brock, Jared, Marissa, Lauren and Andrew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Steven Schueren.

Visitation: Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.

Service: Wednesday, January 16, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Grace Community Church, with one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service, 900 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH. Pastor Kevin Pinkerton will officiate.
