Dear Hammer family, I had a few short time to know Millie, but she always made me feel welcomed. She had a smile and heart that was contagious. I will never forget the visits we had together. May God bring you peace knowing she is with her savior Jesus Christ. Mike Amor Heartland Hospice Volunteer.

    Joyce and Jenny,
Sorry to hear about Millie, what a great person she was. Always smiling , having fun. I know she and Dad really laughed it up when they would have a get-together. I really remember working with her at Lindsey Super Mkt., for Kenny Avers. That was good times, always fun……..and we really did work although working with Millie did not seem like work. Sorry Carol and I can not be there as we are in St. Leonard, Maryland at our daughter’s house. Again our sincerest sympathy for you two girls.

    Jen

So sorry to hear that Millie had passed away. I always enjoyed being around your Mom when I was a girl growing up in Lindsey. She was always such fun to be around and she made the best dandelion salad I ever ate! Remember all the good times you shared with her and she will be forever in your heart.

I used to go in and read Bible Stories and so enjoyed her being there. So sad she is gone. My condolences to all her loved ones.
