
Michael “Mike” J. Kaiser, 63, of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from medical complications at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on September 30, 1952 in Fremont to William O. and Lola (Schwartz) Kaiser. He graduated from Fremont Ross High School and Vanguard Career Center in 1971.
Mike worked at Eaton Controls in Fremont and then went to work at Ford Motor Company in Maumee where he retired after 15 years. After his retirement he transported vehicles between different Dealerships across the mid-west.
Mike was a member of the Fremont Eagles #712 and Moose Lodge #1610 in Port Clinton, OH. His hobbies included boating, fishing, the thrill of gambling but mostly the winning and making people laugh. He enjoyed helping many people without wanting any recognition. Mike loved being with his family and everything the world had to offer. He was an avid OSU and Cleveland Indians Fan.
Mike is survived by his children, Chad Kaiser, Tiffin, OH and Misty Anton, Clyde, OH; mother, Lola Kaiser, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Rebekah Mestrey, Marion, OH and Dalton Mestrey, Fremont, OH; great grandchildren, Zayne Mestrey Marion, OH, Nevaeh Mestrey, Fremont, OH; twin sister, Mari (Jeff) Daughtery and sister, Diane (Tom) Boos both of Fremont, OH; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, William O. Kaiser and niece, Nicole Sours.
Visitation: Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Friday, May 20, 2016; 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Private Burial: Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
