Melody E. Quaintance, 44, of Fremont, OH went home to be with Her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Mercy Perrysburg Hospital. She was born on June 27, 1979 in Fremont, OH to Marvin and Doreen (Henderson) Davis II. Melody was a 1997 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. Melody was currently working as a paralegal for Rodger Hafford Attorney At Law. She loved living on the farm and tending to her farm animals. Melody enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, her motorcycle rides with Steve, going to the local fairs, showing cattle, cooking, baking, spending time on Middle Bass Island, shopping, decorating with her cha-chi’s, flowers, landscaping, camping, being at the lake and by the water where she took in all the memories that were made, and drinking her coffee with a warm fuzzy blanket every morning. Melody was very friendly to anyone she met and was able to strike up a conversation with a vibrant, glowing personality and was known as the Cadillac Queen by everyone. During her battle with cancer, she would always take time to console those who were facing the same battle.
She was a loving, caring and nurturing mother and friend who will be greatly missed.
Melody is survived by her fiancé, Steve Phillips; children, Wyatt Quaintance, Haylee Quaintance, Gavyn Quaintance, Hudson Phillips; parents, Marvin and Doreen Davis II, Bowling Green, OH; siblings, Anna (Riley) Reese, Bowling Green, OH, Lydia (Kirk) Aiello, Toledo, OH, Emily (Luke) Tracey, Monclova, OH; granddaughter, Lillian Rose Quaintance and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded by her paternal grandparents, Marvin and Lois Davis, maternal grandparents, Fern and Ansel Henderson.
Services will be held private for the family and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Memorials can be made in her honor to the family to help with funeral expenses.
