
Mary Louise Walker, 88, of Fremont, OH, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born June 2, 1930 in Vossburg, MS to Howard and Idella (Sander) Lindsey.
Louise married Eddie Walker in Mississippi and he preceded her in death in 1973. She retired from Detroit Gasket as a machine operator after twenty-five years of service in 1993. Louise is a member and mother of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church where she was a Treasurer, assisted in Sunday school and a member in the choir.
Louise is survived by her children, Eddie James Walker, Juliet Walker, both of Fremont, OH, Mary Scott, Columbus, OH; daughter-in-law, Deborah Walker, Fremont, OH; niece, Evelene Hare, Fremont, OH; one hundred forty grandchildren; great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eddie Walker; children, Charles, Samuel and Idella; siblings, Hester Feilder, Lilly Mae McDonald, Minnie Heidelburg, Bernice Jones, Eddie, Howard, Collins and Charlie Lindsey.
Visitation: Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at Great St. James Church, 629 N 6th St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Thursday, September 20, 2018 beginning at Noon at the church.
Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH
Memorials can be made to the family in care of Deborah Walker.
