Mary L. Good

Mary L. Good, 89, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. She was born August 28, 1928 in Tiffin, OH to William Vale and Olivia (Crist) Barnes. She attended Fremont Ross High School.

Mary married Daniel E. Good on September 30, 1948 at St. Joseph Church in Fremont and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2002. She worked as a Home Health Agency Nurse for eight years. Mary had also worked at Countryside Continuing Care Nursing Home and the YMCA. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mary loved children; her family, her dogs, Rex and Bailey and her Big Bird. She enjoyed walks in the park and gardening.

Mary is survived by her children, Danny Good and Sandy (Everett) Lilley both of Fremont, OH, Kim Leasure (Tom Ray), Erie, MI, Jerry (Deb) Good, Tom (Emma) Good and Jeffrey (Carmen) Good, all of Fremont, OH, Chris Good, Toledo, OH, Scott Good, Jupiter, FL, Theresa (Chris) Nitschke, Fremont, OH; son-in-law, Dan Leasure, Fremont; sister-in-law, Judy Cooper, Arizona; she raised two of her grandchildren, Krista and Jeffery Good; twenty-seven grandchildren; fifty-three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel E. Good; son, Bruce Good; grandchildren, Diana Good and Jason Koebel; great-grandson, Derek Good; siblings, Joan (Pete) Pump, Phoebe (Tony) Webb, Bill (Eunice) Cooper and Tom Cooper.

Visitation: Friday, June 15, 2018, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.

Services will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Fr. Chris Kardzis officiating.
