Mary Elizabeth has been a constant in my life, like so many others can attest. She is the one you could turn to in times of trouble, as well as in happiness. She had answers for you that no one else could ever think of. She was the one to go to when you needed to talk and had the best way of conversing with you; even when she just said “Wow!”, it made you feel better. One of my fondest memories with her is when I saw her the last time, and we had a great good old belly-laugh. I will forever smile when I think of that moment through shed tears. Rest in peace, dearest Mary E.! How happy to know she is with all our loved ones now! XoxO

I enjoyed Mrs. Soper’s gratitude for the smallest things and joy in spending time with others. When Pat invited me to go places with them, she noticed the tiny flowers or the way the paint was chipping off a store sign–which was funny. Sometimes, she just paused to take in the beauty around her. I am glad our paths crossed. The video shows what a good life she led, how many lives she touched, and how much she will be missed. Thank you, Pat, for introducing me to your mom. Nobody loves us like our mothers do. I am sorry for your loss. Paulette D. Kilmer

Pat and Family,
You are in my thought and prayers at this most difficult time. You have so many beautiful memories of your Mom that will be in your heart forever. Her video was amazing. You could tell she loved being a mother more than anything. When you meet some people, you feel like you’ve known them your entire life. That’s how your Mom made me feel. I was so honored to call her my friend, along with June, too. I don’t know how she knew, but when I was having a “down” day, a card always arrived in the mail to let me know she was just thinking of me. She had such beautiful handwriting too. I only save special cards and I’ve kept all of hers. That day at Cracker Barrel with your Mom, Sandy, you and me was so special, except for the ant, need I say more. But as we were leaving, your Mom held the door for me! I know the last few years were so difficult for you, but over time the good memories and all those special pictures we bring back a smile to your face. I pray that happens very soon for you. Hugs and love, your good friend forever, Sue Kosolka.
