
Mary E. Campbell, 78, of Fremont, OH passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky. She was born on January 24, 1942 in Chattanooga, TN to Hollis Lee Walling and Mary Lee (Ferguson) Clark. Mary was a graduate of Libby High School in Toledo, OH. Mary married William “Bill” R. Campbell on January 25, 1964 in Rossville, GA and he preceded her in death on February 27, 2017. She enjoyed reading, collecting old jewelry, shopping and reminiscing about everyone she was related to (sometimes that included super stars).
Mary is survived by her children, Dave (Kelly) Campbell, Karen Campbell, all Fremont, OH, Victoria (Juan Jr.) Ortiz, Tammie Allen, Sharon (Carlos) Berry, all of Bellevue, OH; sister, Bobbie Cooper, Fremont, OH; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded by her parents, husband and grandson, Joseph Rocha.
A celebration of Mary’s life is going to take place on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Mary’s home.
Memorials can be made in her honor to donor’s choice.
