On January 4, 2016 we said our final good-bye to our beautiful mother, fun and loving grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. The loving wife of the late George W. Mead; now rejoining him and their son David W. Mead in heaven.

Her great love and dedication as a volunteer at Memorial Hospital Gift Shop lasted over forty years.
She was a life-long member at St. Joseph Catholic Church, a member of the Fremont Country Club and Women’s Hospital Auxiliary.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dr. Scott (Martha) Mead, Fremont, OH, Debbie Mead, Bonita Springs, FL; her much loved grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Mead, Timothy (Kimberly) Mead, Kevin (Katie) Mead, Melissa (Steven) Plogsted, Jonathan (Jennifer) Brinker, Scott (Tatyana) Brinker, Allyson (Chris Mealey) Brinker; fifteen great grandchildren; brother, Paul (Lois) Horn; sister-in-law, Eileen Horn and her two best friend sisters, Lois Spino and Margaret Callendar both of Clyde, OH.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Mead family. Betty and George were good friends of my parents Jerry and Agatha Weller; both socializing and playing cards with them on many occasions. I was so lucky to meet such a terrific couple. May God Bless you all.
