
Mary Ann Wagner, 81, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on Thursday, October 30, 2014. She was born on June 11, 1933 in Tiffin, OH, the daughter of Francis and Cecelia (Sutter) Held. She attended St. Joseph High School.
Mary Ann married Thomas E. Wagner on May 5, 1951 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont and he survives. She was a Cafeteria Manager with Fremont Public Schools and retired in 2000 after many years of service.
Mary Ann was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Fremont Eagles Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose. She was a Hospice of Memorial Hospital volunteer and loved to play cards. She was also an avid Bingo player.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Thomas E. Wagner, Fremont, OH; children, Rebecca (William) Cornell, Green Springs, OH, Robin Moll, Scott T. (Dee) Wagner and Eric T. Wagner, all of Fremont, OH, Timothy P. (Melissa) Wagner, Old Fort, OH; brother, Donald J. (Carlene) Held, Lindsey, OH; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Thomas L. Held, F. Robert Held and Lucy Nietfeld; son-in-law, Robert Moll.
Visitation: Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH with a vigil at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, November 3, 2014; 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St., Fremont. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:30 am at the church.
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery
Memorials: St. Joseph Catholic Church or Hospice of Promedica Memorial Hospital.
