SO SORRY TO HEAR OF MARVS PASSING. I KNEW HIM BEST AS THE RED CROSS VOLUNTEER. THE DRIVES WERE SO MUCH BETTER ORGANIZED WHEN HE HAD IT. ALSO SAW HIM AT FAIRGROUNDS VOTING DAY. AGAIN MY CONDOLENCES.

May the LORD of Life embrace Marv in welcome as he enters “My Father’s House where there are many mansions”. May the same strong arms embrace Marcella, Mark, and Marcia, all their families, and all who love Marv in comfort, peace, and hope. SERVING was Marv’s trademark: I had the privilege of serving on the LSS board with Marv many years; serving LIFT and the Fremont community in ministry and service with Marv; serving Grace on council and committees; serving the Northwestern Ohio Synod; serving the Fremont community. It was my privilege to Pastor for ten years in the congregation at Trinity where you were Wed where I was often blessed to minister at Marv’s side… and, most of all, blessed to have the honor of calling Marv “friend”. “I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the joy of you LORD. With much love and respect, Pastor Keith and Joyce Koppenhofer

Such wonderful memories of Post Communion “Communions” with Marv and a Scotch on the rocks. A wonderful and kind man with a great wit. We will keep him in our prayers.
