Marilyn J. Giebel

Marilyn J. Giebel, 81, of rural Fremont, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH.  She was born on January 6, 1941 in Fremont, the daughter of Carl J. and Mildred (Crowell) Fabian who preceded her in death along with her husband, Kenneth Giebel and an infant daughter, Lori Giebel.  Marilyn graduated in 1959 from Fremont Ross High School.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, camping, gardening and flowers.  Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved her cat, Jasimine.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, Daniel (Terri) Giebel, Clyde, OH and Mark Giebel, Fremont, OH; brother, Donald (Michelle) Fabian, Bellevue, OH; grandchildren, Amanda Giebel of Akron and Jacob Giebel, Twentynine Palms, CA and great grandson, Elliott Giebel.

No Visitation will take place and a Private Service will be held.

Memorials can be made to Stein Hospice or donor’s choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, Fremont, OH.
